Allow your child to experience the natural consequences of her actions. After your child has made a mistake or experienced a failure, talk to your child about her actions and how they led to that (undesirable) consequence. Ask her about how she felt when she was disappointed or experienced the undesirable consequence. Talk to her about how she will avoid this outcome in the future.
