About 30 minutes
Take a daily 15 to 30-minute walk with your child. The walk should have a short, structured component, and a longer period of unstructured time. Each day could have a particular theme, e.g. Monday is leaf day. Spend a few minutes seeing how many leaves you can identify. Bring a few home or photograph them and have your child look them up if you’re not sure what they are. Play and unstructured time are an important and essential component of this activity as well.
