Help your child write a letter to an elected official.  With your child’s input, choose an elected official (e.g., the President) to write a letter to about a topic that interests your child. Help your child edit and revise their letter. Then, send it in the mail. Your child will eagerly await a response, and will be thrilled when it arrives.
